About
James is an accredited Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist, where he takes a holistic approach to care. He is skilled in integrating psychological and nutritional therapies to address complex issues such as binge eating, emotional eating, and body dissatisfaction. His extensive training includes psychology, psychosynthesis therapy, and life coaching, equipping him to support clients in achieving authentic and lasting change.
WeightMatters was founded by James, to create a supportive space for clients struggling with eating behaviours and weight-related issues. His approach emphasises understanding the relationship between emotions, stress, and eating patterns, helping clients rebuild healthy relationships with food and themselves.
In addition to leading the Health Matters Group, James continues to see clients, offering compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to individual needs. He remains committed to improving lives by addressing the psychological and emotional dimensions of well-being.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
