Mr Rawal’s surgical expertise focuses on complex hip and knee replacements, keyhole knee surgery, and lower limb trauma reconstruction, particularly pelvic and acetabular injuries. He is highly experienced in minimally invasive and percutaneous techniques, performing over a hundred pelvic trauma cases per year.
He completed a prestigious fellowship at the Royal London Hospital Major Trauma Centre, gaining advanced experience in complex trauma and revision arthroplasty. He went on to establish the pelvic and acetabular trauma service at Salford Royal Hospital before returning to Cambridge. Dedicated to improving NHS trauma care, Mr Rawal is passionate about enhancing both surgical and holistic recovery for patients affected by serious injuries.
