About Jade Darwich:
Jade Darwich is a registered osteopath with a passion for holistic healthcare. She holds a Master’s Degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy and is a registered member of the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and the Institute of Osteopathy. Her background as a yoga instructor and her deep understanding of the mind-body connection shape her unique approach to osteopathy, incorporating both Eastern and Western principles.
Jade’s journey into healthcare began in Paris, where she practised and taught Hatha yoga after training in the Himalayas. She believes in a comprehensive approach to well-being, integrating breathing exercises, full-body relaxation, positive thinking, and meditation into her healthcare philosophy. This holistic perspective deepened her desire to explore Osteopathy, a therapy she discovered in France, where she was personally treated for chronic aches and pains.
“What I love about Osteopathy is its unique ability to combine Western anatomical knowledge with Eastern holistic principles, engaging the body’s own self-healing mechanisms.”
Jade relocated to the UK six years ago to pursue her osteopathic studies and has since worked in several multidisciplinary clinics, treating a wide range of conditions. She joined bodytonic clinic in 2023, where she now offers osteopathy services for both adults and paediatric patients, alongside deep tissue and sports massage.
Jade’s biopsychosocial approach to osteopathy tailors treatments to each patient’s individual needs. She combines manipulative-structural osteopathy, cranial osteopathy, visceral osteopathy, and soft-tissue techniques. Jade’s focus is to empower patients with exercise prescriptions, lifestyle advice, and mindfulness exercises to ensure they are at the centre of their recovery process.
Her particular interests lie in women’s health and maternity care, and she is set to undertake a postgraduate diploma in Women’s Health Osteopathy at the Molinari Institute of Health. This additional qualification will enable her to expand her expertise in treating women’s health issues, including pregnancy-related pain, postpartum recovery, and pelvic floor dysfunction.
Jade is also passionate about volunteer work. In 2017, she worked with the NGO EliseCare to provide medical and psychological support in conflict zones. She has also contributed to the Texan-French Alliance for the Arts, facilitating healing programmes for children in refugee camps and disadvantaged communities in both Iraq and Houston, Texas.
Patient-Centred Care:
Jade’s osteopathic practice is rooted in patient-centred care, ensuring each patient receives a bespoke treatment plan. She focuses on addressing the root causes of pain rather than simply treating symptoms. Jade integrates her knowledge of yoga, mindfulness, and breathing exercises to support her patients’ recovery journey.
“I strive to create a safe and nurturing space where my patients can embark on their journey towards better health and vitality.”
Future Developments:
Jade is keen on professional growth and will soon offer clinical matwork Pilates and dry needling as part of her osteopathic services. Her holistic approach is designed to cater to patients seeking integrated healthcare solutions.
Personal Interests:
Outside of osteopathy, Jade is an avid traveller who enjoys discovering new cultures and destinations. With a love for hot, tropical climates, she thrives in outdoor adventures such as watersports, trekking, and horse riding. In London, she explores the city’s vibrant art scene, enjoying live music, exhibitions, and the diverse food culture.
Jade is also committed to her own health and well-being, practising yoga regularly and participating in detox retreats. She follows a “plant over-processed” diet and enjoys sharing healthy lifestyle advice with her patients.
