Dr Imran Mannan
General (Internal) Medicine
About
Managing falls entails not only assessing the consequences of a fall but also taking steps to prevent future falls from occurring. Additionally, he is experienced in working with older people who require management of multiple conditions; this needs a holistic approach and an understanding of how each individual condition can impact overall health. He also specialises in treating acutely ill general medical patients in hospitals who often present with unexplained symptoms. His priority is ensuring that patients feel comfortable throughout the treatment process and are able to discuss all aspects of their care.
Dr. Imran Mannan earned his medical degree and cardiovascular science degree at Imperial College, London. He then went on to complete his postgraduate training in both geriatric and general internal medicine before undertaking a fellowship in clinical leadership. He has a keen interest in medical education and training and is involved with teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
