Dr Imran Majid
Psychiatry
About
Dr Majid is a highly-qualified psychiatrist who graduated with honours from the University of Sheffield School of Medicine in 2005. He then undertook his training at the prestigious Maudsley training programme, where he gained valuable experience working in a range of clinical settings and researching evidence-based psychiatry. In 2011, Dr Majid became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) and completed his training in 2014. Since then, he has worked as a locum Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist in the South of England. His training has given him an excellent foundation for helping patients achieve positive outcomes.
Dr Majid understands that mental health is made up of many different factors, and so he always takes care to consider all the possible causes of someone's difficulties. He regularly asks for feedback from young people and their families, to make sure that he is providing them with the best possible care. Additionally, he keeps his clinical skills up-to-date by making sure they are based on the latest evidence-based research.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
