About Mr Huw Pullen
Mr Huw Pullen is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with a special interest in shoulder and knee conditions.
He completed two fellowships to further his surgical expertise. The first, at the Perth Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Clinic in Australia, provided specialist training in all aspects of shoulder and knee surgery, including joint replacement and arthroscopic or keyhole joint reconstruction. His second, at the Swansea Shoulder and Elbow Unit, focused on all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery, including upper limb fractures.
Mr Pullen is a member of several professional bodies, including the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Elbow and Shoulder Surgeons. He is dedicated to medical education and regularly delivers talks for General Practitioners.
Mr Pullen qualified with his medical degree (MBBCH) from the University of Wales in 2000. He became a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS Ed) in 2003 and, in 2009, earned his fellowship (FRCS Tr +O) from the Royal College of Surgeons.
