Along his academic journey, he has earned additional postgraduate qualifications in Health and Safety and Health Psychology, and has served as a Mental Health Court Expert for Assessments related to Youth Care and PTSD. He is also a college teacher, trainer, mediator, and has worked as an Instructors and Validation Coordinator.

With 25 years of experience, Dr. Valente has worked in numerous clinical settings, supporting diverse populations with adult mental health issues, trauma, PTSD, OCD, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, neurodiversity, and more.
