Dr. Hiba Habeeb is a licensed clinical psychologist with over four years of experience in the field, holding licences from both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Department of Health (DoH). She earned her MSc in Clinical Psychology from UAE University, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, English Literature, and Criminology from India.
With a diverse background, Hiba has honed her skills in cognitive, behavioural, and personality assessments. Her professional journey includes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across renowned institutions such as Al Amal Psychiatric Hospital, Wellbeing Support Unit UAEU, Rashid Hospital, Euphoria Medical Center, and The Communication Clinic.
Hiba integrates cognitive behaviour therapy, behaviour therapy, client-centred therapy, interpersonal therapy, and play therapy modalities to tailor interventions to the individual needs of her clients. Her expertise spans across various age groups, from children to adults, facilitating multidisciplinary evaluations and developing holistic treatment plans encompassing rehabilitation, special education, early intervention, psychoeducation, and family support.
As a former Research Assistant at UAE University's Department of Clinical Psychology, Hiba has contributed to cutting-edge research on topics including body appreciation, psychometric assessments, and third culture kids, with publications in international journals.
