About

Miss Henrietta Wilson is a highly skilled Consultant Thoracic Surgeon at St Bartholomew's Hospital in London. She graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from Guy's, King's and St Thomas' medical school in 2006, achieving an integrated BSc in Psychology alongside her medical degree. Following her medical training, she completed specialist Cardiothoracic Surgery training at renowned institutions including the Royal Brompton and Harefield and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals. In 2015, she became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Cardiothoracic surgery.

Miss Wilson has a particular interest in the management of anterior mediastinal masses and robotic thymectomy for myasthenia gravis. Her vast experience in minimally invasive thoracic surgery has enabled her to offer patients robotic assisted lobectomy and segmentectomy for both malignant and benign disease, performing 95% of lung resections through a minimally invasive approach. Miss Wilson is an expert in state-of-the-art surgical treatment for lung cancer, mediastinal tumours, pulmonary metastases and complex thoracic cancers, including extensive experience in robotic surgery, for which she trains others nationally and internationally.

St Bartholomew’s hospital is one of three national centres within the United Kingdom delivering surgery for pectus patients. She has a high level of experience in using the Park's approach for the repair of severe pectus excavatum.

Miss Wilson has expertise in the follow areas:

• Robotic Surgery

• Thymectomy
