Dr Hannah Rosenfeld is a Neurologist.
Neurology is the branch of medicine concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and disorders of the nervous system. This covers the central nervous system (the brain and spinal cord) and the peripheral nervous system (the nerves in the rest of the body).
Abnormalities in the brain, spinal cord or nerves may result in symptoms such as muscle weakness, paralysis, poor coordination, loss of sensation, seizures, pain and altered levels of consciousness. Treatment varies, but may include physiotherapy, pain management, medication and surgery which would be performed by a Neurosurgeon.
