Georgina Porter
Psychotherapy
About
Georgina completed her Master’s degree in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy at the University of East London in 2019. Utilising the integrative model, Georgina incorporates various therapeutic approaches, tailoring her methods to suit each client as an individual. Her expertise includes the use of arts, play, and metaphor, facilitating the expression of emotions that may be otherwise blocked. These creative modalities also offer alternative avenues for communication and exploration when traditional language may not suffice.
Georgina has experience in addressing a diverse range of difficulties, including bullying, complex trauma, eating disorders, attachment issues, neurodivergence, family separations, anxiety, and depression. Her particular interest lies in attachment theory and neuroscience, delving into the interplay between the two to understand how it shapes our relational dynamics and influences our perception of the world around us.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
