Dr Georgia Kontosorou is an experienced midwife with over 14 years of experience in the UK and abroad. She is passionate about meeting the needs of women and families through personalised care planning. Her vision is to transform traditional documentation and information sharing into a modern digitised offering. Dr Kontosorou joined the NW London Maternity Transformation programme to support the roll out of maternity transformation and be part of the national digital transformation agenda.
Dr Kontosorou finds it an honour to witness the transformation of a couple into parenthood and always supports families with respect during their extraordinary journey. She does this passionately through her workshops with families during pregnancy. As a certified lactation consultant and tongue-tie practitioner, she is able to guide families in infant feeding. Her studies in prenatal and perinatal psychology have also enriched her with a background that empowers families through their emotional changes. Throughout her experience as a midwife, Dr Kontosorou finds the work never ceases to amaze her every day.
