Mr Van Wyk is a highly experienced Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Surgeon with over 19 years of specialist practice, including more than a decade as a Consultant and eight years in the private sector. He is also Internationally Board Certified in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
Mr Van Wyk manages the full spectrum of general ENT conditions and is dedicated to providing high-quality, personalised care for patients of all ages. He has particular expertise in nasal airway and septal surgery, sinus surgery, paediatric and adult tonsillectomy, facial, scalp and neck skin lesion surgery, otoplasty, and nasal reconstructive surgery.
His extensive surgical experience includes more than 2,000 tonsillectomies (including over 200 coblation procedures), over 400 sinus surgeries, more than 250 septoplasties, and over 200 nasal reconstructions/functional septorhinoplasties. He has also performed more than 300 facial, scalp, and neck skin lesion excisions with reconstruction.
Mr Van Wyk serves as the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Lead for ENT Surgery at Frimley Park NHS Hospital and sits on the Local Implementing Committee for Epic Clinical Systems for ENT.
Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters, walking, cycling and exploring the British countryside.
