About

Dr. Farhad Rahimpanah is an obstetrician and gynaecologist renowned for his holistic approach to women's health. He combines his vast medical expertise with compassionate care, providing comprehensive fertility treatments, including the innovative Mild Ovarian Stimulation protocol for IVF. Dr. Rahimpanah’s practice spans all areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, with a strong emphasis on high-risk pregnancies, female infertility, minimally invasive laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgery, female incontinence, vagibal prolapse and reconstructive vaginal procedures.

Dr. Rahimpanah earned his Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) in 2001. He had attended Maquarie university in a Bachelor of Science degree, specialising in Molecular Biology and Genetics and graduated from medical school at the University of New South Wales in 1992. His early career as a Registrar in South Western Sydney Area Health Services honed his expertise in high-risk pregnancy management. Dr. Rahimpanah’s expertise encompasses primary infertility management, reconstructive pelvic and vaginal surgery, female urinary concerns, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, contraception, and the management of abnormal Pap smears. His practice reflects a patient-centred approach, ensuring comprehensive and individualised care.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Rahimpanah is fluent in Persian and holds senior consulting roles at Liverpool, Ryde, and Sydney Southwest Private Hospitals. He is actively involved in mentoring RANZCOG trainees at Liverpool Hospital and serves as a Conjoint Senior Lecturer at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Western Sydney.
