Mr Rasul's academic journey began with an MBBS from University College London in 2008, followed by neurosurgical training at several centres of excellence in London. He was awarded his Fellowship in Neurosurgery by the Royal College of Surgeons, England, in 2019. To further hone his skills, he completed two complex spine fellowships. His additional qualifications include an MSc in Clinical Neuroscience from University College London (2012) and an MPhil in Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Cambridge (2016), where he was the top-ranked candidate and received funding from the Medical Research Council (MRC).
In 2020, Mr Rasul was one of only two UK-based neurosurgeons to receive the esteemed BASS Travelling Fellowship, highlighting his prominence in the field. He has also published numerous articles in internationally acclaimed journals.
