Dr Fahad Alshehri is a Consultant in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology who is dedicated to providing specialised care for patients. He focuses on the diagnosis and management of a wide range of conditions affecting the gastrointestinal tract and liver, offering a comprehensive approach to patient wellbeing.
Dr Alshehri holds the Saudi Fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology and the Saudi Board in Internal Medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) before pursuing his specialist qualifications.
He is proficient in performing both diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopies. His clinical practice includes managing complex conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Dr Alshehri also has a particular focus on the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic liver diseases, including viral hepatitis and the complications of liver cirrhosis.
