Dr Fahad Alhammadi is a Counselling Psychologist with academic and clinical experience across public and private healthcare sectors in the United Arab Emirates and internationally. He provides psychological therapy for adults experiencing a range of emotional and mental health difficulties.
His clinical work includes the assessment and management of anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar affective disorder, obsessive–compulsive disorder, phobias, panic disorder, trauma-related conditions, and adjustment difficulties. He also supports individuals experiencing interpersonal difficulties, work-related stress, and issues related to identity, gender, and sexuality.
Dr Alhammadi provides structured psychological interventions for mood and anxiety disorders, stress-related conditions, and personality-related difficulties. His practice includes therapeutic work addressing emotional regulation, coping strategies, and interpersonal functioning.
He holds a Master’s degree in Psychology from the University of Glasgow and a PhD in Social Sciences from Durham University. He has also completed additional professional training in mental health counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and psychodynamic therapy.
His therapeutic approach is informed by an integrative and culturally sensitive framework, with an emphasis on collaborative working between clinician and client.
