He later moved to the UK and completed further training in Orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore. Mr Sedra also holds a Master's degree in Orthopaedics and was awarded a MD for his research work surrounding scoliosis surgery. He later completed two fellowships at the Royal London Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Mr Sedra is also a Trauma & Orthopaedic Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.

His current clinical practice focuses on spinal surgery. He regularly manages both general spinal cases and complex spine trauma cases including lumbar, thoracic, cervical and craniocervical spine cases. Mr Sedra has special interests in the surgical treatment and management of spinal deformities in both adults and children. He also treats lumbar and cervical disc disease in the adult patients.

Mr Sedra is well skilled in several surgical techniques, including conservative techniques such as minimally invasive spinal surgery and robotic-assisted surgery. He is passionate about securing the best clinical outcomes for his patients and is known for listening to his patients and including them in the decision making of their treatment. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to provide his patients with a fully comprehensive healthcare service.
