Dr Fadwa Omer is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in reproductive medicine, IVF and advanced obstetric care. Her expertise includes ovarian stimulation protocols, intrauterine insemination (IUI), oocyte tracking and retrieval, embryo transfer, and both diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy and laparoscopy.
Previously, she worked as a Consultant IVF Specialist at Hawa Fertility Center (2019–2023), where she managed complex fertility cases alongside comprehensive antenatal care and operative obstetrics, including uncomplicated and complicated caesarean sections and gynaecological surgeries such as hysterectomy. She has also held senior specialist roles in Saudi Arabia and Oman, managing high-risk pregnancies, laparoscopic procedures, and emergency obstetric cases.
Her clinical training includes structured residency rotations across major teaching hospitals in Sudan, covering obstetrics, gynaecological surgery, high-risk maternity care and emergency management.
Dr Omer’s research includes hospital-based studies on prophylactic corticosteroids before elective caesarean section, and post-abortion care.
