Dr Emad Tashkandi is a respected Consultant Medical Oncologist, providing dedicated care to his patients. He is committed to a comprehensive approach to treatment, ensuring patients are well-informed and supported throughout their healthcare journey. His professional focus is on managing and treating a range of cancers, with a particular interest in advancing patient care through modern therapeutic approaches.
Dr Tashkandi holds the position of Associate Professor at Umm Al-Qura University. His research interests include the study of treatment patterns and clinical outcomes in patients with various forms of cancer, such as prostate and colorectal cancer.
He earned his medical degree from Umm Al-Qura University in Makkah. Following this, he completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Western Ontario in Canada and a fellowship in Medical Oncology at McMaster University, also in Canada. Dr Tashkandi further pursued a Clinical and Research Fellowship in Genitourinary (GU) and Gastrointestinal (GI) Malignancies and obtained a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Epidemiology from McMaster University.
