Hakkında
Dr. Elsie Mensah has been a consultant urological surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust since August 2020. As part of the bladder and upper tract urothelial cancer team. She also a a BPH specialist and performs a range of BPH surgery including HOLEP, aquablation and REZUM steam ablation of the prostate. Dr. Mensah performs a wide range of general urological procedures. These include local anaesthetic transperineal prostate biopsy, ureteroscopy and laser stone fragmentation, and bladder outflow surgery.
Dr. Mensah completed her higher surgical and urological training under the London and South East Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education (formerly London Deanery). She graduated from King's College London School of Medicine in 2007. Her specialist interests include bladder cancer, prostate cancer, lower urinary tract symptoms, and bladder outflow surgery, as well as cancer diagnostics.
She is a well respected voice in the urological field and is actively involved in national and international conferences as well as urological workshops. She is dedicated to teaching and training the next generationm of urologists and regularly features in educational workshops as well as exam preparation courses.
