Dr Tee Wei Siah is a UK trained Consultant Dermatologist that specialises in conditions affecting the hair and scalp. As a clinical fellow, she shadowed Dr Kevin McElwee, an Assistant Professor that specialises in hair research, and conducted a research project exploring the role of specialised cells in the body in the development of Androgenetic alopecia. Dr Siah was awarded North American Hair Research Society mentorship in 2014 and was mentored by leading experts in the field of dermatology, including Dr Leonard Sperling at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences – a Professor of Dermatology and Pathology.
Additionally, she has presented at national and international conferences and has been published in peer-reviewed journals. She is also a member of the British Association of Dermatologists as well as the American Hair Research Society.
