Dr. Fynn has a particular focus on atrial fibrillation, the most common heart rhythm disorder, and has received an MD from the University of Cambridge for his research in this area. He is skilled in the use of radiofrequency catheter ablation as a treatment for arrhythmias.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Fynn has led the development of a Family Cardiac Screening Clinic, providing screening for inherited cardiac conditions in families affected by sudden and unexpected cardiac death. He has published extensively on the mechanisms and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias and the use of Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy in the treatment of cardiac failure.
