His specialist interests include complex cataract surgery with premium lens implant and the management of disorders such as age related macular degeneration, retinal vascular disorders and ocular inflammation. He has an active interest in advancing surgical and lens technologies.
Mr Kashani has had the privilege of training at various teaching hospitals in London including Kings College Hospital, Western Eye Hospital and several years at the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital. It was at Moorfields Eye Hospital that he was competitively selected for the prestigious advanced sub speciality fellowship in medical retina and Uveitis. His clinical practice also includes management of patients with general ophthalmic pathology such as cataracts, dry eyes, blepharitis and glaucoma.
He is active in research with over 40 publications and numerous presentations at national and international level. He also holds a Master's degree in Management and Leadership in Healthcare.
