Dr Paramjit Jeetley is a Consultant Cardiologist based in London. He has particular interests in heart failure, cardiac imaging (echocardiography and cardiac CT) as well as managing patients with advanced renal disease.

Dr Jeetley has practised as a Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital since 2011 and was the Clinical Director for Royal Free Cardiology from 2016 to 2021. He has been joint lead for undergraduate teaching for Cardiology at the Royal Free for UCL students since 2011.

After qualifying from the University of Bristol, Dr Jeetley trained in general medicine and cardiology both in the south-west of England and in London. He obtained his MD under the supervision of Prof Roxy Senior in the utilisation of stress and myocardial contrast echocardiography in 2010. He completed his specialist training at the Bristol Heart Institute before his appointment to the Royal Free in 2011.

He has proven expertise in a wide range of cardiological conditions including valvular heart disease, heart failure, coronary artery disease and ischaemia testing, in the management of patients with advanced renal disease. He is skilled in performing several diagnostic cardiology tests, such as cardiac CT, basic and complex (stress, bubble and transoesophageal) echocardiography. He is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for his patients.

Dr Jeetley remains actively involved in research in his field of expertise, many related to echocardiography, cardio-renal disease and cardiology care during the COVID-19 pandemic.
