About
Professor Wheeldon trained at St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School in London, qualifying in 1984. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology.
Professor Wheeldon has a special interest in inherited cardiac conditions and has established a regional service for the diagnosis and management of these conditions. He is also interested in the use of technology in cardiology and has been involved in the development of new techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease.
