Dr. Nidal Maarouf is a dedicated Consultant Cardiologist with a specialisation in heart diseases. His expertise covers various aspects of cardiology, including diagnostic coronary angiography and the insertion of all types of pacemakers, ranging from simple to complex cardiac devices.

Dr. Maarouf has performed thousands of diagnostic coronary angiographies. Additionally, he has successfully completed over 1,000 pacemaker insertions, covering both straightforward and intricate cardiac devices.

Dr. Maarouf completed his training at St George's Hospital in London from 1997 to 2005. During this period, he obtained his MD degree from the University of London. His comprehensive training involved invasive diagnostic and treatment procedures such as coronary angiography, angioplasty, and pacemaker insertion. Furthermore, he received specialised training in Electrophysiology for the treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. Managing heart failure patients was also an integral part of his training, which included learning pacemaker insertions and the implantation of complex devices such as ICDs (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillators) and CRT-Ps (Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Pacemakers).

Dr. Maarouf has contributed his skills and expertise to several prominent hospitals in the UK, including Liverpool University Hospital, Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool, and Hull Royal Infirmary. Currently, he serves as a Consultant Cardiologist at NLAG (Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust) and holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer at HYMS (Hull York Medical School).

His specialised areas of focus include cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure management, and the implantation of complex cardiac devices. Dr. Maarouf is dedicated to the field and he provides patients with the highest standard of cardiovascular care.
