About Dr Michael Pelly

Dr Pelly also has a particular interest in humanitarian action, specifically disease prevention and the management of large-scale crises and disasters. He has substantial expertise in African famine relief and has experience working in long-term programme development in Afghanistan, Iran, and North Korea. He has also served as an external medical advisor to a TB/HIV programme for the International Federation of the Red Cross in the former Soviet Union
