About
Kshama gained her primary medical qualification at Nagpur University, India, after which she undertook her general nuclear medicine training at the Radiation Medicine Centre at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. Upon receiving her qualification in 1999, she came to the UK and further trained at the Royal Brompton and Royal Marsden hospitals, gaining specialist knowledge in nuclear cardiology and oncology. Upon completion of her further training, she was appointed Consultant in 2008, and has since become Lead Nuclear Medicine Consultant.

• Nuclear imaging of the heart and lungs
• Using hybrid imaging techniques, such as SPECT-CT and PET-CT, to improve understanding of pathophysiological processes affecting heart and lungs
• Imaging of inflammation and infection using PET-CT
• Imaging for cardiac and systemic sarcoidosis using PET-CT
