Dr Mohan has specialist expertise in managing patients with breathlessness, wheeze, cough and recurrent chest infections. This includes Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), Radial EBUS, Endobronchial stents, Endobronchial vales, Cryotherapy, Argon Plasma Coagulation and Balloon dilation.
Dr Mohan is passionate about teaching and plays an active role in undergraduate and postgraduate education. He is an invited speaker at regional and national conferenes. He has trained several registrars, fellows and consultants in thoracic ultrasound and interventional pulmonology procedures.
Dr Mohan carried out research in Cystic Fibrosis Related Diabetes and has 23 Publications and presented over 80 abstracts at National and International conferences. He is a specialist advisor to NICE on Endobronchial valves in pneumothorax and Thopaz chest drain.
He is an active member of leading professional bodies including the Royal College of Physicians, British Thoracic Society, European Respiratory Society, World association for Bronchology and Interventional Pulmonology and British Medical Association.
