Dr Irfana Koita is a Fertility Consultant and the founder and director of IVF Matters, the UK's 1st online fertility clinic. She is a fellow of The Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) and has achieved a Masters in Healthcare Leadership from Cornell University, USA. Irfana trained at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and has over 20 years of clinical experience in the field of assisted reproduction.
Irfana sees a wide range of patients. These vary from those who have just started their fertility journey to those who have had unsuccessful treatments at other clinics. Her clientele includes those with PCOS, endometriosis, tubal damage, fibroids, and male sub-fertility. She has immense experience in the treatment of women who have reduced ovarian function. Over the years, she has played a pivotal role in the birth of over 2000 babies following fertility treatment.
Dr Koita is passionate about supporting women who want to preserve their fertility by freezing their eggs. She has been instrumental in organising "Extended Choices", a series of ongoing egg freezing parties in Mayfair, London, to spread awareness and to empower women.
