In 2006, he was then appointed as a Consultant Physician and Gastroenterologist in Milton Keynes and was made a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013.

He currently heads the IBD and nutrition teams at Milton Keynes Hospital, is Gastroenterology training lead for the Trust and is a bed holder on the gastroenterology ward. He is an accredited bowel cancer screening colonoscopist.
