Charles Knowles is the Lead for Colorectal Surgery at Cleveland Clinic London and Professor of Surgery at Queen Mary University of London. His impressive record of delivering quality research and shaping clinical practice is evidenced by his multiple national and international leadership roles, including becoming the inaugural Chief Academic Officer at CCL. He has published extensively in scientific journals (> 300 peer-reviewed papers) and major textbooks. He is also a semi-professional musician and internationally published author.
