Hakkında
Dr. Anish Bahra completed her neurology training in both New Zealand and London before embarking on research in Cluster Headaches at the University College London Hospital (UCLH) Institute of Neurology. She was appointed as a consultant neurologist with a subspecialist interest in Headache disorders, between Bartshealth NHS Trust and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery (NHNN), Queens Square, 2003.
Dr. Bahra has been an active member of the British Association for the Study of Headache (BASH), and part of the writing group for their BASH Headache Guidelines, published in 2019.
She is also involved with several special interest groups for headache and acute medicine, including those affiliated with the Association of British Neurologists, the International Headache Society, the European Academy of Neurology, and the Specialist Examination Certificate Board for Neurology. In addition to her professional commitments, Dr. Bahra is also Chair of Whipps Cross Hospital – Barts Charity and Waltham Forest Medical Education Trust.
