Dr. Morley-Davies began his medical journey with junior posts in the Professorial Medical and Cardiology Units of Cardiff, Nottingham, and Newcastle. He trained as a clinical cardiology registrar in Edinburgh, focusing on electrophysiology and cardiac ablation from 1994. Pursuing advanced academic and clinical expertise, he undertook a PhD at the University of Glasgow and later served as Senior Registrar specialising in electrophysiology and devices at Glasgow Teaching Hospitals.
In 2000, Dr. Morley-Davies was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist in Lincolnshire, while also serving as a Visiting Consultant at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester—one of the largest electrophysiology units in the UK. He later joined University Hospital North Staffordshire in 2005 as a Consultant Cardiologist, where he led the Cardiac Devices and Electrophysiology service for five years.
Currently, Dr. Morley-Davies performs 3–4 ablations and 4–6 cardiac device implants weekly. He has a major clinical interest in syncope, inherited cardiac conditions, heart failure, and palpitations. His expertise extends to advanced procedures such as cardiac pacing, implantable defibrillators, and ablation therapy, ensuring patients benefit from the most effective and up-to-date treatments available.
