Hakkında
Dina Chioni is an experienced addiction counsellor at Nightingale Hospital in London. She supports individuals dealing with a wide range of challenges, including alcohol and drug addiction, gambling and technology addiction, eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa and OSFED, as well as interpersonal difficulties and behavioural concerns. Her approach is both structured and person-centred, tailored to meet each individual’s needs in a safe, non-judgemental environment.
With a background in psychology and specialist training in the psychology of addictions, Dina brings a strong understanding of the underlying emotional and behavioural patterns that contribute to addiction and disordered eating. She incorporates evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and interpersonal therapy to help clients explore their experiences and move towards lasting change.
Dina has experience working both one-to-one and in group settings, and places particular focus on supporting clients in setting meaningful life goals and strengthening their relationships. She draws on attachment theory to better understand the roots of relational difficulties and supports individuals in developing healthier patterns of connection and self-regulation. She is fluent in both English and Greek.
