Dr Dhanya Charly is a Wellness Specialist and RCI-licensed Clinical Psychologist with a strong background in clinical practice, academia, and research. She currently works at Betterly, where she provides psychological support and wellbeing services, and also serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at Manipal Academy of Higher Education Dubai.
She holds an MPhil in Clinical Psychology from the Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences Calicut and an MSc in Clinical Psychology from Christ University Bangalore, following her undergraduate degree in Psychology. Her training has equipped her with expertise in psychological assessment and psychotherapy.
Dr Charly has diverse professional experience, including roles as a Psychologist at the Centre for Brain Research IISc and as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Jyoti Nivas College in Bangalore. She has also contributed as a Project Consultant at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras.
Her clinical work focuses on delivering evidence-based psychological care, combining assessment and therapeutic interventions to support individuals with a range of mental health concerns. Alongside her clinical role, she is actively engaged in teaching and mentoring, contributing to the development of future professionals in psychology.
