Mr Denis Lawlor is a consultant plastic surgeon. They are a co-founder and former President of both the Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons (IAPS) and the Irish Hand Surgery Society (IHSS). Mr Lawlor has always been passionate about teaching, training, and expanding the specialty so that more consultant surgeons are available to treat the public. They were the RCSI representative on the Special Advisory Committee for the UK and Ireland, overseeing surgical training standards. The Irish Association of Plastic Surgeons (IAPS) recently honoured Mr Lawlor with an award in recognition of their service to Irish plastic surgery.
