About
Dr. Chhabra completed his medical education at the University of Sydney, where he earned an undergraduate degree in Medical Science before pursuing Graduate studies in Medicine and Surgery. Additionally, he holds a Ph.D. in Medicine and is actively involved in research and education.
After obtaining his Fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, Dr. Chhabra pursued further subspecialty training in Upper Gastrointestinal Tract (UGIT), Hepatobiliary (HPB), and Transplant Surgery. His training took place at prestigious institutions including Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital, Liverpool Hospital in Australia, and St. James University Hospital in Leeds, United Kingdom.
Currently, Dr. Chhabra serves as a consultant surgeon at Sydney Adventist Hospital and Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital. His expertise spans a wide range of specialties including General Surgery, Surgical Oncology, Gastroscopy, Obesity Surgery, Gastric & Oesophageal Surgery, Hepatobiliary & Pancreatic Surgery, and Colonoscopy. With his extensive training and experience, Dr. Chhabra is dedicated to providing high-quality care to his patients.
