About Dr David Treagus
Professional career Dr David Treagus is a dedicated dentist with a passion for endodontics, and his practice at Vermilion is focused exclusively on providing root canal treatment, managing endodontic complications and offering vital pulp therapies to patients in our Edinburgh clinic. In addition to his clinical work at Vermilion, Dr Treagus also serves as a Clinical Teaching Fellow at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School. In this capacity, he is involved in educating and training undergraduate dental students in the fields of general restorative dentistry and endodontics. Academic career Dr Treagus graduated with Honours from the University of Glasgow in 2014. Subsequently, he spent seven years in general dental practice, where he gained valuable experience in various aspects of dentistry. During this time, he achieved Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Driven by his passion for endodontics, Dr Treagus pursued advanced training by completing a three-year Masters program in Endodontology at the University of Chester. Following, Dr Treagus has achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in Dental Education with the University of Dundee. He is committed to both providing the high quality endodontic treatment required to save patients teeth.
