About Mr David Ross
Mr. David Ross is a highly accomplished Consultant Urological Surgeon. His specialist interests are in kidney stones, endourology & benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), as well as delivering comprehensive care in general urology, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), vasectomy, foreskin problems/circumcision, scrotal problems & swellings (hydrocele & epididymal cysts), blood in the urine (haematuria), urinary incontinence and problems passing urine. David graduated from the University of Manchester in 1997 and underwent Urological training in the North West of England Deanery. His exceptional performance was recognised with the Keith Yeates Gold Medal in the FRCS(Urol) examination. In 2008, David was awarded a post-graduate research doctorate (MD) for his studies in prostate cancer. He holds a Post-Graduate Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Manchester and serves as an Associate Dean within NHS England NW. In this role, he oversees and assures the quality of medical training. His contributions to surgical education extend nationally, where he has delivered roles in the Urology Specialist Advisory Committee, the Joint Committee on Surgical Training and as an Examiner for the JCIE. David provides leadership in professional standards as Responsible Officer for the Northern Care Alliance; ensuring the competence and professionalism of the medical workforce.
