Physiotherapy
About
Darcel's approach to massage therapy is deeply influenced by her own career as a dancer and West End performer. She recognises the pivotal role that regular sports massage therapy plays in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Her experience in dance has provided her with a profound understanding of the nuances of the dancer's body and the mechanisms that can lead to imbalances and injuries.
Through her work with non-performing clients, Darcel has developed insights into how everyday activities, such as sitting at a desk or carrying a baby, can impact muscular balance and function. She has found that massage therapy can be instrumental in restoring these aspects to optimal levels. Her expertise also extends to clients who engage in regular exercise and athletes, as she helps release tight and overused muscles, ultimately restoring balance and enhancing overall function.
Darcel's primary goal is to offer her clients pain relief, improved muscular function, increased efficiency and balance, and an overall sense of relaxation through her therapeutic services.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
