About Ms Danielle Heming
Danielle Heming is a psychotherapist with over fifteen years of experience working with young people, families, and adults in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Her background includes roles within the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), where she has supported individuals facing complex trauma, attachment difficulties, and a broad range of mental health challenges. She currently works as a Clinical Lead and Supervisor for the Child Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) team in CAMHS, where she oversees the delivery of low-intensity cognitive behavioural therapy (LI-CBT) for young people and families. Her previous NHS role focused on children with trauma and attachment difficulties following adoption or Special Guardianship Orders (SGO). Prior to this, she worked as a Child Parent Psychotherapist with the Child First program, an evidence-based psychoanalytic intervention supporting young children and their families. In private practice at The Hope Space in London, Danielle offers therapy for individuals, families, and couples. Her integrative and systemic approach is particularly suited to those experiencing relationship challenges, attachment difficulties, or mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, personality disorders, and neurodivergence. She creates a warm, creative and collaborative space, supporting teens and adults to explore barriers to growth, healing, and change. Danielle holds a Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University and a Master's degree in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology from University College London and the Anna Freud Centre. She has also completed further training through Yale University and the Institute for Family Therapy.
"Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions."
