Following completion of her medical ultrasound qualification, she was appointed as a diagnostic ultrasound instructor, teaching postgraduate students while also working in university hospitals including the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where she collaborated closely with vascular surgeons and academic clinicians, including providing intraoperative ultrasound support for interventional procedures.
Between 2003 and 2011, while based in the United States, Daniela completed multiple ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) accreditations, including Obstetrics, Abdomen and Small Parts, Breast, and Vascular Ultrasound. In 2011, she relocated to the UK and joined the ultrasound team at Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust, where she worked as an Advanced Practitioner Sonographer, performing and reporting on a comprehensive range of ultrasound examinations across abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, breast, vascular, musculoskeletal, and small-parts imaging.
In 2014, Daniela completed a Master’s degree in Medical Ultrasound at Bournemouth University, gaining extensive specialist training in musculoskeletal ultrasound and ultrasound-guided injections. She is a longstanding member of the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography and the Alliance of Physician Certification & Advancement, and in the UK she is a member of the Society of Radiographers and the British Medical Ultrasound Society.
