Dr Daniela Semedo is a clinical psychologist with experience in inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. They provide evidence-based, effective integrative treatment options that are tailored to achieve clients' desired therapeutic outcomes. Dr Semedo employs a relational approach with a strong emphasis on empathy and compassion as key components in the success of the therapeutic process, by providing a space where clients can feel heard, accepted, and secure.
Dr Semedo's approach to treatment incorporates a variety of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapies (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Schema Therapy.
They are passionate about helping individuals manage their intrapersonal and interpersonal emotional and behavioural difficulties. Dr Semedo believes in working collaboratively with clients to support them in creating a more fulfilling life journey.
