Dan Dawe
Physiotherapy
About
In addition to his physiotherapy qualifications, Dan is also certified in Acupuncture, a technique he regularly employs alongside manual therapies and cupping to offer his clients a comprehensive and high-quality treatment experience.
Dan excels in addressing running-related injuries and specialises in gait analysis. He provides guidance to runners of all skill levels, helping them identify the most suitable running form or style based on their biomechanics. By recommending appropriate footwear, suggesting adjustments to running techniques, and prescribing corrective physio exercises, Dan assists his clients in optimising their running performance while minimising the risk of injury.
Furthermore, Dan has valuable experience from working in an NHS Orthopaedic setting, where he gained insights into a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries.
Before beginning his physiotherapy career, Dan served for five years in the British Army. During this period, he gained skills in rehabilitation while working with amputees and injured service personnel. He was also actively involved in training new recruits using the Army's rigorous physical training program. These experiences have seamlessly translated into his career as a physiotherapist, where he remains dedicated to achieving the best possible outcomes for all his clients.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
