Dr Clinton Colaco is an Infectious Diseases Physician with a specialist interest in general and acute medicine. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Bond University and went on to obtain a Master of Medicine (Internal Medicine) from the University of Sydney. He has completed physician training across Western and South-West Sydney hospitals, attaining Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of Physicians. Following, he completed a Postgraduate Fellowship in Advanced Therapeutics at Westmead Hospital, and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene through the University of Alabama at Birmingham and the Alexander von Humboldt Tropical Medicine Institute in Lima
Dr Colaco currently works as a Staff Specialist in Acute Medicine at The Canberra and North Canberra Hospitals and serves as a Visiting Medical Officer/Consultant Physician in several private facilities across the east coast of Australia. He is also Senior Clinical Lecturer with the University of Queensland and Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
He is involved in multiple local and international clinical trials and is currently undertaking a PhD in the value of telehealth medicine in an outpatient setting in regional Queensland.
