Ms. Claire Crilly is an experienced Psychotherapist
working from a humanistic, client-centred perspective. She holds a BSc (Hons)
in Counselling & Psychotherapy from PCI College (2006), a Diploma in
Counselling, and a Diploma in Clinical Counselling Supervision. In 2013, she
completed training in the Adolescent Community Reinforcement Approach (ACRA),
strengthening her expertise in supporting young people experiencing addiction.
Claire integrates a range of evidence-based approaches tailored to individual needs, including CBT, Person-Centred Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Systemic Therapy, and EMDR. Her work is grounded in empathy, collaboration, and empowering clients to build resilience and meaningful change.
She brings extensive experience across organisational, corporate and community settings, working in private practice, school-based work & community Therapy centres. Claire works with all age ranges with a particular interest for adolescence therapy. Trauma-trained, Claire specialises in crisis intervention, self-harm, and suicidality, building resilience and offering skilled and compassionate support during periods of acute distress such as grief, loss, mental and emotional health concerns and diagnosis causing ongoing emotional dysregulation.
Claire also provides parental guidance and support with referral pathways for assessment and diagnosis, including mental health, addiction treatment, development & learning assessments, helping families navigate complex systems with clarity and confidence.
Claire is also currently working 4 years in a corporate setting as a Wellness Consultant where this role focus on risk assessment and building resilience for employees. These strengths and skills transfer into the therapeutic setting for the client’s general wellbeing and those experiencing all levels of work-related stress.
Claire offers both in-person and online sessions, creating a safe, supportive environment where individuals and families canexplore challenges, strengthen coping strategies, and move toward sustainable recovery and emotional resilience and wellbeing.
Claire also provides Clinical supervision for both student and accredited therapists. These sessions can be offered online and in person. Claire also is a trained organizational Supervisor and currently provides group supervision for the Dep Education providing group supervision for guidance counsellors.
