Dr. Christina Loughran brings over 14 years of experience in facilitating both group and individual CBT therapy for issues such as stress, anger, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma, psycho-education, and mixed diagnoses. Her doctoral research focused on modifying eating behaviors in individuals who overeat, and she received training at the Eating Disorder Unit of Maudsley Hospital, where she worked with patients suffering from anorexia and bulimia. With a background as a barrister for 20 years, she now collaborates with corporate clients.
Her methodology is integrative, employing CBT to address symptoms while incorporating a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and psychodynamic insights to explore the triggers of childhood trauma. These techniques include object relations therapy, Attachment Narrative Therapy (ANT), compassionate mind therapy, and motivational interviewing.
