Brian Naughton is a fully accredited Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapist with the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP). He believes in the innate capacity of individuals to heal, grow, and move toward the lives they desire. Drawing on a deeply person-centred approach, Brian works to empower clients to navigate challenges and reclaim a self-directed path to psychological wellbeing.
Since 2007, Brian has worked across individual, family, group, and workplace settings. He holds a Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from the Dublin Counselling and Therapy Centre and is a Certified Holotropic Breathwork Practitioner through Grof Transpersonal Training (GTT). He also holds a Certificate in Addiction Therapy from Maynooth University and has pursued additional training in trauma, anxiety, family therapy, and the impacts of sexual exploitation and abuse.
Brian’s practice integrates a range of therapeutic modalities including Brief and Solution-Focused Therapy, with influences from mindfulness and self-compassion. His areas of interest include trauma recovery, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, workplace stress, and personal development. He also facilitates Breathwork Workshops to support trauma integration. Brian is committed to ongoing professional development and engages in both individual and group supervision to ensure the highest standards of therapeutic care.
